چکیده
Objective: Cystic echinococcosis (CE) is an important parasitic infection caused by Echinococcus granulosus (E. granulosus) larvae, adults of which live in Canidae. Although CE observed all over the world, it more prevalent developing and underdeveloped nations.
Material Method: This study was conducted on a total 60 cyst samples, including 20 sheep cattle slaughtered abattoir patients operated with diagnosis KE University Medical Center between dates June 2018 April 2019. The collected fluids were centrifuged protoscolices collected. For each these hosts, large small hooks examined. Large hook length (LHL), (SHL), width (LHW), (SHW), blade (LHBL), (SHBL) measured. measurements made single person, taking into account characteristics specified Hobbs et al. (1990). results evaluated SPSS program.
 Results: average human, bovine LHL 21.710 ± 1.073 μm, 24.322 25.223 μm; SHL 16.946 0.840 20.746 0.911 21.199 0.977 LHW 5.437 0.358 7.817 0.729 8.528 0.589 respectively; SHW 7.229 0.631 6.417 0.507 6.488 0.463 LHBL 13.236 0.746 13.862 0.767 13.345 0.728 SHBL determined as 8.918 0.471 9.414 0.483 9.457 0.476 respectively. length, lengths isolated from significant difference groups. When morphology grouped pairs human-sheep, human-cattle sheep-cattle analyzed statistically; It that LHL, SHL, significantly different but not sheep-cattle. found sheep-cattle, while only human-sheep.
Conclusion: morphological features E. may represent adaptation vertebrate hosts. this reason, thought parameters can be useful differentiation isolates used together molecular studies future

Genetic Affinity of Echinococcus granulosus protoscolex in Human and Sheep in East Azerbaijan, Iran
Echinococcosis caused by the larval form of Echinococcus granulosus (E. granulosus) is known as an important zoonotic disease in various parts of the world, including Iran. The genetic diversity of this parasite is very high, particularly in areas where the disease is endemic. It has been suggested in the literature from different parts of the world that diverse facto...
متن کاملGenetic Variability of Antigen B8/1 among Echinococcus granulosus Isolates from Human, Cattle, and Sheep in Fars Province, Southern Iran
Background: Cystic echinococcosis (CE), known as hydatid cyst, is a zoonotic parasitic infection caused by the larval stage of Echinococcus granulosus (E. granulosus). Antigen B, the major component of hydatid cyst fluid, is encoded by members of a multigene family. The present study aimed to evaluate the genetic diversity of the gene encoding antigen B8/1 (EgAgB8/1) among the main intermediate...

Echinococcus granulosus protoscolex proteins were separated using two-dimensional electrophoresis and then identified using mass spectrometry; we identified 61 proteins, 28 which are newly described of which 4 could be involved in hydatid cyst fertility molecular mechanisms.

AIM Cystic echinococcosis (CE) has potential economic effects to both animal products and human health. A vaccine to protect livestock against CE can be effective in reducing economic costs and increasing the livestock products. Protoscolex tegumental surface antigens (PSTSA) used to induce the production of specific antibodies against Echinococcus granulosus in sheep. The tegumental antigens w...
متن کاملGenetic Variability of Antigen B2 of Human, Sheep, Goats, Camel and Cattle Isolates of Echinococcus granulosus in Iran
BACKGROUND Antigen B (AgB) is frequently used for immuno-diagnosis of human cystic echinococcosis (CE). Echinococcus granulosus AgBs show a high degree of genetic variability in different hosts or in different CE endemic areas. The present study aimed to evaluate the genetic polymorphisms of encoding antigen B2 gene (AgB2) among different Iranian isolates of E. granulosus. METHODS A total of ...
